Certified Analytics Professional Certification brought to you by INFORMS
CAP-Pro (CAP-P)
CAP-Pro is designed for analytics practitioners who are ready to prove they can do more than execute tasks — they can own projects. If you have two or more years of experience, have led or significantly contributed to one or more analytics initiatives, and want employers to know you can be trusted to manage complex work from problem framing to deployment, CAP-Pro is your next credential. No prerequisites. No eligibility requirements. Just your knowledge and the exam.
Not sure which certification is right for you?
CAP-Pro sits at the mid-tier of the CAP certification framework. If you are earlier in your career, CAP-Essentials may be a better fit. If you are leading teams and driving organizational strategy, consider CAP-Expert. Visit our certification comparison page to see all three levels side by side.
What CAP-Pro Validates
CAP-Pro certification demonstrates that you understand the complete analytics process at a project management level — not just the technical execution within a single task, but the judgment to guide an initiative from scoping through deployment. The exam is grounded in the INFORMS Analytics Framework, covering all seven domains of analytics practice.
